Planning a Social event

In business, I have been tasked of doing a social event plan, this involves a budget of $5k and we need to sort out how are we going to use our money, plus we are gonna need to sort out people who have specific careers like a DJ and security.

Venue: the location we are doing this is on a Hagley Park and its a firework show.

Start's at 5pm, ends at 10pm.

-$20 per hour security, hire 4 unarmed security guards, -$400 total.

-$2,500: firework show,

-$80 per hour: Bunnings Warehouse outdoor Verve Pallas 4 x 5W LED Spotlight, -$400 total.

-$0 Food trucks will be coming for free.

-$350 rent, Fence surrounding the area, 100m per fence (except entrance 50m), square shape.

-$755, plastic Seats 100x $5, plastic tables 50x $15 each.

-$140 each wheelie bin 3x, -$420.

-$30 plastic bins 3x 10 each.

-23 per hour clean up crew, $115 clean up after the show.

$5000 - $2500 - $400 - $400 - $350 - $755 - $420 - $115 - $30 = $30

Total Spent: $4970

Surplus: $30

This was a fun activity that involved budgeting. I think I did well in this because I did some calculations and  I had to research prices for specific services and products. When it comes to budgeting you have to be exact on what things you want/need to buy, example like how are people going to see and where are they gonna sit.
