Credit Infographic

Today in business I have been tasked of making a poster about credit and also loans. This poster tells you the Pros and Cons about credit and a tip on how to find out who to get a loan from.

Just in case if you didn't get from what I'm saying, say if you borrow a loan from someone, are you able to pay it back once you used it? that's one of the questions. Another question is whether it is a need or a want. if for a want loss of money could occur or could put you into debt. You could probably just save up from work anyways. If a need, go ahead and spend it, this is for survival anyways.

Anyways this task was pretty quick and simple. I think I did well, the poster shows the pros and cons to credit also I could have changed your mind about credit good or bad you tell me, and even loan decisions on who can get one from even how to spend one.

Do you think this will help make good decisions about who to get a loan from and how to spend it? if no please tell me why.

I have learnt this information in class and quite enjoyed making this poster.

Planning a Social event

In business, I have been tasked of doing a social event plan, this involves a budget of $5k and we need to sort out how are we going to use our money, plus we are gonna need to sort out people who have specific careers like a DJ and security.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Venue: the location we are doing this is on a Hagley Park and its a firework show.

Start's at 5pm, ends at 10pm.

-$20 per hour security, hire 4 unarmed security guards, -$400 total.

-$2,500: firework show,

-$80 per hour: Bunnings Warehouse outdoor Verve Pallas 4 x 5W LED Spotlight, -$400 total.

-$0 Food trucks will be coming for free.

-$350 rent, Fence surrounding the area, 100m per fence (except entrance 50m), square shape.

-$755, plastic Seats 100x $5, plastic tables 50x $15 each.

-$140 each wheelie bin 3x, -$420.

-$30 plastic bins 3x 10 each.

-23 per hour clean up crew, $115 clean up after the show.

$5000 - $2500 - $400 - $400 - $350 - $755 - $420 - $115 - $30 = $30

Total Spent: $4970

Surplus: $30

This was a fun activity that involved budgeting. I think I did well in this because I did some calculations and  I had to research prices for specific services and products. When it comes to budgeting you have to be exact on what things you want/need to buy, example like how are people going to see and where are they gonna sit.

Savings Animation

 Savings Animation

Today in Business Studies we have been learning about savings/budgeting. So I'm here to show you my learning so far, to you guys. Plus this might teach you something about savings. I have made a cartoon slide to show you the basic's of savings sit back relax and enjoy.

So what is Savings and why is it important? Savings is basically an extra amount of money (income not spent) that you have but in a place where it is safe. You could use it to be more secure in life just in case a bump in the road might occur. This bump is thought to be bills and fees etc.

How do you get a savings account? Well if you don't want to do it with you could just get a piggy bank or you could do this step by step savings account guide.
1. Compare your options.
2. There are many financial institutions that offer savings accounts.
3. Gather the required documents.
4. Choose a joint or individual account.
5. Fund your account.
6. Submit your application.
7. Set up online banking.
8. Interest rate.
9. Fees.
(Mention choose a trustworthy bank of your choosing)

So what went well and what didn't go well during this? I guess what went well during this learning experience is that I could do an animation relating to this subject. What didn't go well is that it took a long time to make it. I feel like my learning is understandable to other people and I would like some feedback from people if it was difficult to understand or something I missed, it would be highly appreciated. I have used one website for this, the link is underlined and blue with the word guide if you wanted to know. Plus I've already learned this but it was still fun.

  3. Step 3: Set your goals.
  4. Step 4: Make a plan.
  5. Step 5: Adjust your habits if necessary.
  6. Step 6: Keep checking in.
  7. This is on my poster/infographic.

As I was learning I have learned some tips, tricks, skills, etc. like for an example, and I've also learned how to organize a budget and more, and I also had some fun overall this experience was a fun learning experience and this could help me one day with budgeting. What went well in this assignment is that I get to be creative, and I guess what didn't go well is that I had to end up doing this on the weekends which is Halloween because I tried to be too creative. I hope this poster/infographic taught you something today :).
