The Beatles: Here Comes The Sun

 Here Comes The Sun

What is this song about?

Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here

This means that the sun is the universal symbol of light. Light in its essence is the absence of darkness. All good in the world is represented with light and bad. In other words, the Sun coming up represents the good that can come from us and that the dark days can be gone.

How different does it sound from the music from the 1940s?

For this song, the Beatles made more of an upbeat type of song which they did with all of their songs. Try and compare it with some basic songs from the 1940s and you'll see a difference. these songs were a help to people with culture and people who present themselves with their age.
