 Today in class we have been doing a poster about a specific god and their story, also, about their similarities with the ancient greek, ancient roman, and Hindu gods. 

Ecosystem Project

Leopard

Habitat: Savana/desserts and grasslands are very hot and they prefer to live near trees to hide in.

What do they eat and what eats them: Baboons, hares, rodents, birds, lizards, porcupines, warthogs, fish, and dung beetles.

Lions and packs of hyenas or painted dogs can kill leopards.

Their adaptions: 

• They have spots on them for camouflage which is called disruptive colouration.

• They have sharp teeth to bite through hard flesh.

• They have longer tails than cats and helps them balance on steep, rocky slopes it could also be useful for the cold since they can wrap their tails around themselves to keep them warm.

Movement: uses its 4 legs

Respiration: converts food into energy

Sensitivity: It can react to its environment. 

Growth: It grows once it gets older

Reproduction: it's sexual and relies on others of its species to reproduce.

Excretion: it digests waste out of its body.

Nutrition: It eats other animals mainly a carnivore.

 

Cells

Large vacuole: Providing structural support, by growth, storage, waste disposal, protection and growth. 

Cell Wall: A protective outer layer that provides tensile strength and protection. 

Cell Membrane: Protects and organises cells. 

Chloroplast: Converts light into energy also known as photosynthesis.

Cytoplasm: A fixed solution that has protein, water and salts which fill the cells.

Nucleus: controls the cells and carries genes.

Mitochondria: generates chemical energy needed to power the cells.

DTE VEXcode

In DTE I have managed to try out VEXcode VF, VEXcode VR is an easy to use platform that allows you to code a virtual robot using either a Block-based coding environment powered by Scratch Blocks or a custom developed Text-based Python interface. Today I have made a VR robot to collect trash in a coral reef and managed to collect 51 kgs.

opinion: VEXcode is a really simple and fun coding program is uses the concept of scratch blocks and games with I like, in conclusion beginners should use this as a learning program.

Genetic disorders- why do they occur?

What is it meant by the term Kristallnacht?

What was the reaction of the German people to this event?

They forced the Jews to pay for the cost of the event and they would disown or depot them and even banned them from attending schools basically blaming the Jews.

Kristallnacht was being planned because of this document that had been written before the event (1:20 AM November 8th) which showed us what the officials can and can’t do. The event was then preplanned because of this. Here are some examples from the document.

1. “businesses and residences of jews may be damaged but not looted.”

2.  “Non-Jewish businesses are to be protected from damage under all circumstances.”

3.  “Officials are to arrest as many jews especially wealthy ones.”

4. “For the time being, only healthy male Jews of not too advanced age are to be arrested.”

This shows how the Jews weren’t getting anything fair on what they can’t do and can do. As a result of this, they had to cause the events of the Kristallnacht to happen.
